Description

Kashkool Games is a startup indie game company that is based in United Arab Emirates. The Team is excited to take the responsibility to create games that are fun to play. Creating Games that inspire. The team is currently working on “Sheba: A New Dawn”, A game that is set to be in Sheba. The land of magic and incantations where it's events are supernatural!

History

We have devided our history into two, before creating Kashkool Games (the company) and after. If you don't want us to bore you with our history please move to the second section "After our Addiction".

Co-founders' brief history

As any 1990s kids, The three brothers were officially declared addicted to video games in the house of Al-Mansooris. Our addiction declaration was because we skipped family meals, as we are the type of family that waits every member to start eating. Anyways, our heads was as stubborn as a rock and we kept on playing games. These days we played games from Metal gear Solid to Castlevania and we enjoyed all of the games we played.

As time passed by, our father decided to make a stand about our addiction and gathered us. He was visionary, I think this comes as a package with the old generations, he said: “If you are having fun, then why not learn making your own video games?”. A simple question is all we ever needed and couldn’t think of… why not create our own games that we always imagined? We wished it was that simple…

Anyways the story can get very long from learning RPG maker, Game Maker, then getting into unity. We even created a Ragnarok Online server ("Anicnent Tears Ragnarok Online") if anyone remembers the game =D.

One last thing, once we started to look into games in a more analytical way, everything has changed… This is where we started to see and realize the extensive thoughts and efforts that were put into making a video game.

No matter how small or big a game is, the team's efforts and sacrafices which made us enjoy our times playing their games. GAME DEVS, KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK and THANK YOU for your inspiration!

After our addiction

The spark was our father's talk that day. Obviously, we learned a lot while developing games as hobbies, we wish that was enough... time passed by, from very humble tries, bits and pieces here and there among ourselves. we even challenged ourselves and had small game jams at home just in between the three of us, long before we even knew game jams do exist xD.

Anyway, we went to universities with an untouchable dream in minds, but life’s essentials were our first priorities… We finished our universities and got our day job… that is when we decided to start Kashkool Games, with a dream to quite our day jobs and have another at our own company. Well we are into this path since late 2017.

We want to create a legacy and we are on our first baby-steps towards that dream. One day we will quite our jobs and make games that everyone remembers.
